God's Grace

This week I am reminded of God's Grace and His blessings. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family ( Alan and Porter ) and great extended family. Sometimes we forget that God wants us to draw near to Him at all times.

"Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need."Hebrews 4:16

This week Sage loved on Porter even when Porter was feeling a little in the dumps with a 24 hr bug. GIGI was a great playmate at the McDonald's CLIMBING in the play gym ( notice she STILL has phone in hand talking to SUE SUE) and Dad and Po watch Finding Nemo a favorite. Lot's of lazy time this week and family fun.

Rain, Rain and More Rain

Well it rained all day and all night which meant that the rain gear YAYA bought PO had to come out. He wore it with pride and got LOTS of complements!!! Also, Parker and him had a fun filled day at the coffee shop, jumpin bean and at GIGI's house before she heads back to school in two days. His new favorite things to say are HIYA ( some sort of karate thing?) and POPO ( and point to himself). Lastly he is VERY into building block, his food, papers what ever he can.

TERESA IS GREAT

Well some things are just blessing and I was reminded today of one that is in our life our nanny Teresa. Today she watched Porter and Andy and Will and they seemed to have a GREAT time together. She also was able to install a new house fixture, wash, fold and keep my house it perfect condition and it was raining most of the day! I can not do that with ONE CHILD at home. T we love ya and thanks for capturing your day with the boys. Also, YAYA look Porter likes his rain shoes now ( working on the jacket).

Mom and Porter Laugh so HARD

Today was so fun as we took Porter to Centennial Olympic park to see where Atlanta hosted the 1996 Games ( of course he had No idea). He loved the park and play area and running wild on the field. Afterwards we laughed so hard we could not stop. He was so cute kissing both Alan and I which makes me believe he was HEHE ( Happy).

The Childrens Museum

Alan and I woke up and decided that it was a great day to try out the Atlanta's Children Museum call "Imagine." We had a GREAT time!!! Porter was able to fish for ducks, play in the sand, slide down giant banana's, climb ropes, watch the clowns, climb through tunnels, play with trains, climb in giant frogs and be a clown in the car.

I get a Big Smile Thinking about Porter and Will

Well what a great night at CCC with Porter and Will. I just love seeing them together and thinking about what great friends they will be ( especially since we love Will's Mom and Dad). They played, did not swim much because of the overcast weather and than eat up a storm as usual. We also ran into Ryan and Sambo and little Corrine what a treat. Just one of those nights that makes you smile for great friends new and old.

ALL BOY Porter wants to wrestle NOT nap

Music Class, talking animals and brooms

I am not sure if I am more excited or Porter that Music Class has started back. He was a little more nervous than last year, but warmed up once the sticks and woman's scarfs came out of the closet. Did not like when they had to go back in the closet ( also not great at sharing). Porter has started hitting other children so Alan and I are now talking about discipline in the near future scary thought. Later that day decided to hide in Porters room and talk to him while he thought the owl in his room was speaking it was so cute and funny. Lastly Po decided that mom was not sweeping the porch correctly so he took over. After hurricane Faye made her turn towards Sea Island we made the decision NOT to go sad, but looking forward to a fun weekend.

Thank God for Aunts

Well Aunt Parker returned home Sunday night from a "learning experience" in IBanking in NYC. She now has 13 girl staying at my parents house for a week as Team Captain her Senior Year at Princeton all the Volleyball players train at in the ATL before heading back for their season. On a sad note Aunt Reeves known as "Reevie" leaves for school in less than 24hours. Her car is packed her hair is highlighted "not straightened" and she is ready for a new adventure. They both got some last minute PO time. Aunt Chrissie had fun last night building blocks with Porter and having him say her name Aunt CC. Lastly, a very special yet distant Aunt Jennifer AKA Jimbo sent a special gift to Po from CO. as you can see from the yellow shirt HE LOVES IT. Thank God for AUNTS. Also GIGI gave Porter his first Blowpop and he LOVES IT and Dad returned from out of town just in time for movie night!

THANKS to the Wynn's we had a wonderful Sat night at the Farm. Lots and Lots of laughing and late night debates. Most importantly we made some new friends ( Porter Loves little D or at least MOM does ha ha). Lucy and Porter got along which is great news since we are very found of her sweet parents. Thanks for all the memories. We loved the Polaris rides, feeding the fish, running wild in the grass and swimming in the pool. Also loved watching Phelps get his last Gold together and drinking great wine. What a meal we ate and Caroline liked her wine so much she slept GREAT ha ha . Tyler loved talking about my sister and the tanning bed and also getting excited about all the memories we will encounter in the future. Thanks again
