Today was just a typical Thursday, but as Porter calls them "MOMMY DAYS" - I always try to do things they each enjoy on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As usually we started with our morning visit to caribou where Porter and Jack split lemon poppy seed bread ( and I got a LARGE coffee). Then we went to gigi's to swing and let Jack take a quick nap. Afterward we headed to the Zoo to see all the animals and have a picnic. We also went on the Merry go Round as well as the train. Some favorites were the birds, monkeys and panda's. Then after Porter screamed for doodles the entire way home they took a nap. When they woke up off to JUJU Bees for Strawberry Ice Cream. Both boys LOVED IT, and we danced to the disco music in the store as it rained outside. Now they have both had dinner and a bath and watching an episode of Mickey Mouse Club. This is the first time Jack has discovered froggy. I hope that it is as loved as Lamby.
