Christine's Last day

Christine Porter and I had so much fun this week it was like old times and we will miss you and Wright. Please come back ANYTIME and we will try to get to Dallas soon. Also, it was great to see Kim and hang out with all her sweet boys. The last day we walked at the river and ate and played at the park. Porter also continues to be in love with cars especially red ones. He lines them up and takes them everywhere with us.

Day Two with Christine - Margaret Gail Visits

Today Porter, Wright, Porter C and Margaret Gail headed to the children's museum. It was lots of fun and it wore out the kids pretty good. After lots of playing, building and riding we headed to the park for a picnic. It was great to have Kristin and Margaret Gail join us. Happy 1st birthday Margaret Gail.

Christine Arrives with Little Wright

It was great seeing Christine and getting to catch up in the midst of 5 boys all under the age of five running wild. Brewer, Cannon, Porter C, Wright and Porter H all player trucks, cars and trains till they were worn out. They also sat on the couch and watched a praise video. Porter and Porter ( who are three days a part) had fun together watching the older boys. Wright was an angel and enjoyed being with his cousins.

Halloween 2008 Meadowbrook

We had such a fun weekend as Porter "THE BOXER" - Aunt Linda and Uncle Mark ( Alan's aunt and uncle) visited Friday night and brought Porter an Alphabet Train which he LOVES. After that we all headed to the Meadowbrook "parade" where the kids ran around and kind of marched in a circle. It was great that Yaya and Papa were there to enjoy this time. We ended the night with some dinner and great company. Sat. baby Mason came to visit for the bad Auburn game and the even worse GA/FL game. Porter loved the baby and could not get over how small his feet were. If this is any indication how he will react to the new baby he will be a wonderful big brother.

Duck Pond Abby and Will and THE DUCKS

What a fun morning as the weather warmed up it was fun to feed the ducks, chase each other, see the pumpkins, go over the bridge. After an active morning we all went to Mellow mushroom for some pizza in the train room. Abby and Will played peak a boo and it was so cute!! Porter just loved the fish and the train.

I LOVE my PUMPKIN

Porter loves pumpkins so much that he kisses them, counts them and thinks that they are little people. So last night when we Alan I were so excited to carve our pumpkin, but when we pulled out the knife he has a heart attack saying NO NO you hurt him STOP - and started to cry. So when he went to bed we carved the pumpkin and this morning he loved seeing the eyes, nose and mouth of his new little friend.

Mummy and Me Party

What a great way to kick off Halloween week with a fun Mom and Kids party at Mel's ( Martha Stewart). Her party's are always so great, but she out did herself this time around. There were was a amazing pumpkin cake, party favors, art projects, ghost marshmallows and strawberries dipped in white chocolate. There was amazing homemade orange hot chocolate, decorations everywhere. Ok I can not go on any more but to say hats off to Melanie for being brave. How much fun

Back to the Rock Ranch

Well after so much fun a few weeks again we made the haul back to the ranch, but this time with some buddies-Will and Andy. We had a great time a highlight being the horses, train and cow barrel ride. Porter did NOT like the pumpkin launcher. All three boys loved the rocks and climbing. It was fun enjoying fall with friends maybe this will start a tradition.

Porter loves to eat in his new chair and he has so much fun laughing and eating with Ms. T. he showed off to Papa Friday night and Papa just could not stop staring at how cute he was ha ha.
