Porter THANKS everyone for Birthday wishes

Yesterday Porter turned 2 and we entered the terrible two's with a bang. He has become well aware that yelling and screaming for what he wants drives his mommy and daddy crazy. He also learned that with Birthday's comes cake, candles, hugs and GIFTS. Today he said my Birthday and we said NO that was yesterday not again till next year. Thanks everybody for gifts and WISHES

Happy 2nd Birthday PO

Well tomorrow Porter will be two and I can not believe it!!! What a fun two years it has been from bottles to cereal to McDonald cheeseburgers. Sat we celebrated his birthday with some of his friends at his favorite place McDonald's. We had a great time

Playgroup at Lucy's House

Porter was in heaven today as he got to go see Lucy Wynne's new tree fort play set. It had swings, 6 slides, and a tree house. It was awesome and of course he was the last to leave. Tyler you may see us sneaking over there as the weather continues to get better and better.

Winter Weekend in Sea Island

What a fun weekend with the Dunlap's, Wynne's and Dunn's!!! The kids had a great weekend and thanks Ryan for being such a great host. I think we fit in as much as possible from going to the stables, playing on the playground, running on the beach, playing in the grass and of course watching some Little Einsteins. There are so many pictures so I will have to send most of them out separate.

Cars, underwater- Just one artical...

Porter has for a while had an obsession with nice cars a Lotus being one of his favorites. He is the only child under two that I know who can go through a sports car calendar and name every car from BMW to a Viper and Aston Martin. It is so funny and hope to soon get the video up. His other new thing is sticking his head underwater in the bath tub and holding his breath it is SO FUNNY.

Lastly, I had to add this story in before number two arrives, but on Sat mornings as I am feeding Porter, changing him and playing my sweet husband likes to fix himself a nice bowl of cereal, go to Starbucks and come home with the paper. This week I asked him, "hey you want to help for a minute put Porters shoes on" he responded- I wish I could just read one article in the paper from start to finish. I wanted to yell back I wish I could take a shower, brush my teeth, watch a movie and read BUT IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN for a while ha ha

Snowmountain

We has a great family day today at Stone mountain's Snow mountain Park!!! We played in the snow, went sledding and ate smores what more can you want in Atlanta when it is 55 degrees and will never snow. The mountain had a base of 42 inches and there were great play area for little kids. Porter had a few break downs as he really wanted to go down the big tubing hill, but we told him he would have to wait a few years. What a fun DAY - wish I could post all the pictures, but there are too many.

Andy Visits for the Afternoon

PO PO LOVES ANDY they have so much fun together and they were so great this afternoon. Lots of hiding, eating, dancing, holding hands and playing in the tent. Thanks Andy for coming over.

The Hamilton Swing in for a Day

It was fun to see YAYA and PAPA and Jimbo even if it was for 24hrs. They squeezed in aquarim, dinner and some caribou. Porter is also REALLY into race cars and expensive cars ( we maybe in trouble) Dad has to read him car books and name them all

Finally a Break in the Weather

I do not know how people live up North with kids. It has been cold and rainy here for a few days and I have run out of ideas to keep a two year old entertained. Finally today we were able to go to the park and we had a great time. Porter LOVED it and ran all over. Spring and Summer can not get here fast enough
