Hugs, lazy days and slides

Well Porter has had some lazy days the past week especially when mom and dad are watching football. He curls up on a chair, sucks his thumb ( with Taggie) and just relax ( like father like son). We had a great day yesterday at memorial park with the play group and Lucy was all about giving Porter hugs ( Porter was not as responsive, but did try to give her and Corrine a kiss). He also enjoyed the big boy slide and rock wall.

ROCK RANCH Our 2008 Pumpkin

Rock Ranch is GREAT - it is Truett Cathy's ( Chick-fil-A) farm in Barnsville, GA about 1 hr from the ATL airport. Yaya and Papa went with us and we had a blast. There is 1200 acres of great farm land ( pony and hayrides, jeeps, train, boats, pumpkin patch, corn field maze ( which we made it to the end), pumpkin launcher, moon jump, slides, petting zoo, swings- ok I can not name everything put it was so fun. The band even invited Po on stage for a picture. He did great today even skipped his nap.

YaYA and PAPA Friday Oct 10th

YAYA and PAPA drove from North Carolina and gave Mom and Dad a break. They read with PO, watched Cars, wrestled, took him on the swing, went to the park and visited the horses. Last we all went to dinner ( with no highchair) Porter was great in a big boy chair.

Well finally some rainy weather and Porter ran to the closet to throw on the rain gear. He met Ms. T as the door in full gear ( he is not a huge fan of the hat). After he showed off how cute he is he sat and read "are you my mother" with Ms.T. After that a little posing for the camera for T.

A DAY at The ZOO - The 3 Amigos

Today we went to the ZOO with Abby and Will and it was so fun to see Porter interact with his little friends. Porter was all about Abby and being a flirt holding her hand and watching the birds. Will was so cute riding the bus and pointing at all the animals. Thanks Mel and Katie for great memories!!! Especially loved lunch - I think Porter ate Abby and Will's french fries and drank their Hi-C's. All kids took great naps after a fun filled morning.

The Pace Fair

Not much has changed in 15 years since I last went to the Pace Fall Fair. It was so fun and Porter had a great time. GIGI and GOGO went probably for the 500 time in their lifetime so they new the ropes. We did not win a goldfish this year because Dad sad Po would kill it ( by accident of course) possibly next year. Porter also saw his buddies Andy and Corrine and Thomas. His favorite was the giant slide and the swing. The giant Caterpillar and box maze we among his least favorites.

Westminster vs Lovett 2008

Well tonight we went to see cousin Rawson play football. It was so fun Porter LOVED the band and cheerleaders. He got to go down to the track and hang out with cousin Smith and Granddaddy Douga. He also go to meet the wildcat. Over all it was a fun night!!!
