Who Loves Santa...Jack

Porter was not so sure of Santa- He told Santa that Jack wanted a rattle, but forgot to say what he wanted. Jack only like Jack can just smiled.

Gingerbread Houses with PO

It was a fun morning with Andy, Corrine and the entire world making Gingerbread Houses. It was so much fun and Porter did a great job. I will have to say that between Andy eating the sprinkles and Porter the candy canes and Corrine the gumdrops I am so surprised that candy actually got on the houses.

YAYA Visits

Porter and Jack had a great time with Yaya- from Pancakes to cookies and lots of singing and talking about Christmas. It was wonderful for me to have time with the boys each alone. jack and I played and read books and Po and I had a chance to go to Westminster/Lovett basketball game and make Gingerbread houses. It was a great weekend.

We miss you Daddy

Alan is working REALLY hard ( as I saw in person today) in trial the last few weeks. It was so funny to watch Perry Mason, ok more like Matthew mcconaughey in A time to Kill work his magic in the courtroom. He is doing a great job and sacrificing lot's during this time a year. It was nice to have him for 12 hours last weekend and here are a few pictures from last Sat. We hope to see you for a few hours this weekend. WE LOVE YOU DAD

It's looking a lot like Christmas

I LOVE traditions so I started December 1st and can not stop. Everything from Pink Pig to baking cookies, hanging the stockings, singing songs, taking Christmas cards and the list goes on.... here are some favorites from the past week!!! Alan has been in court all week, but was able to come home tonight just in time to read Elf on the Shelf. IT WAS GREAT!!! I love the Christmas season and teaching Christ birth is a wonderful adventure.

Jack and Po first bath

Tonight to cut time and because the boys are starting to really have fun together they took a bath. It was really cute and they both laughed and splashed each other. After about 15 minutes Porter said ok Jack needs to get out I need more room.

Gordon Beckham - not only a great friend of the family but a wonderful baseball player ( #15 the Chicago White Sox) was so sweet to hang with little Porter and sign a glove and bat for the two boys. Thanks Gordon for hanging out and great win for the dawgs over Tech !!!

The Pink Pig 2009

We went to the Pink Pig yesterday and Porter had so much fun. Jack loved the lights and they made him ride in his own seat next to GIGI of Me so funny. All Porter is talking about is how YAYA is going to take him back. What a great tradition as my parents took me as a child and have great memories of the PIG. Lastly, Jack has been under the weather and appears to slowly be getting better. He has been sleeping a lot and it is so sweet.

Highlands, NC 2009 SO FUN

It was so great to have a weekend with just the four of us!!! It was so needed and the kids had a blast. Porter learned gun safety, Jack wore his first cowboy hat and Alan and I had fun just being a FAMILY. Thanks to Bob and Pam for a FABULOUS WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
