MY FAMILY

Today I am so thankful for my sweet family. I am so lucky to have the three greatest boys- Alan, Porter and now baby Jack. What this means is that Queen Morgan still runs the show ( ha ha). It was a long weekend, but I have learned to enjoy the simple things during this time. The house is coming along and the framing is near completion. Porter starts "school" at St. James this week and I am hopeful it will be a good thing for him this year.

Changing Times

Well sorry the posts have been so few, but life has gotten complicated and blog entries have fallen to the bottom of the list!!! A few things to update you followers on A. we HAVE moved out of our house for about 6 months and moved into hotel Henrite. All is well and the help is appreciated ( even if it means taking advice from your parents when you have lived on your own for 12 years ha ha). It is great to be around extended family ( even though we REALLY MISS YAYA AND PAPA AND JIMBO). Porter's new room is set up like is old ( besides the giant Henritze sign in the back). Jack and Alan and I are nomads for now, but Reeves leaves tomorrow and we will then invade her room.
Our house was so dirty and Alan and I can not wait to get a fresh start. They started yesterday and already are tearing apart. Porter and Jack are learning to adjust ( Porter says he is on a adventure). Yesterday we were able to have some of Porter's friends over which helped with the adjustment and it was tons of fun. Hope to update more, but that is my five minute I am allowing my time today.

My Friends and the Zoo

Well even though it was a 102 HOT day in Atlanta- Porter needed to be with friends and get out of the house. I also loved being around some girls and watching the battles we all face with 2 year olds. It was a great day - Thornton ( 3 tomorrow), Porter ( 2 1/2) , Emerson (2) and Margaret Gail ( 1 1/2). It was a great day

Worthy to be Praised

What a big week for the Hamilton family - One thing that my sweet husband reminds me daily is that God is due all the Glory, and that he is worthy to be praised. He has blessed us with so much and through prayer he heals.

Lord I praise you for my sweet family and what you are doing in our lives to bring You glory.

"Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies."

Psa 7:17 I will give to the LORD the thanks due to His righteousness, and sing praise to the name of the LORD, the Most High.
Psa 22:22 I will tell of Your name to my brothers and sisters; in the midst of the congregation I will praise You.
Psa 34:1I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Porter and Mommy "Lets go Fly a Kite'

Porter loves Mary Poppins and hates Kites, but loves watching dad fly one and siging song from movie. Watch and see so cute - Baldhead NC 2009

A Mountain Getaway

We were with the Maddens and Dunlaps this weekend and the cool weather is just what the doctor ordered. It was fabulous and great to be with all the kids and then sneak away at night for adult dinner. The guys got to play golf and the girls even go to take a shower alone with out running to attend to children. Thanks Missy and Patrick it was AWESOME.

A Much Needed Vacation

The last ten days have been magical for our family. We were able to escape to the beach ( Baldhead, NC) for a week and then visit with friends in the mountains. Thank you all for your prayers and support and we are encouraged.

Jack is doing well not sleeping through the night, but starting to get a little personality. Porter is still cute and wild as ever.
